Saitrell are a diminished race of a once great empire, They were renown for their ability in magicks and foreseeing events to come and pass. They once had a great kingdom protected by magicks, they could be called the Rome of their time. Highly advanced in their knowledge and magic they ruled over the other races preferring their own kind over the rest thus barring other races and species from their magical kingdom and cities. Their cities were grand decorated with fanciful magicks, floating towers and glimmering lights they were a sight to see and coveted dearly. They were ruled by a council of elders known as they Ring of Heytheical.
The Saitrell were a beautiful race coveted by all, delicate in all forms their bodies unable to withstand large amounts of strain and weight they relied on magicks to do the work for them or their many slave workers they kept outside of their cities to tend their farms and other tasks they deemed menial. The large translucent wings allowed them to glide from place to place with ease and some affluent in magick never touched the ground with their delicate hooves.
Eventually the races rebelled joining together and rose against the Saitrell destroying their empire and causing them to disperse into houses their luxurious lives and magics lost to the land. Knocked from their high perch in the clouds saitrell became an every day sight in normal villages as refugees taking up roles as doctors, seers and other professions. For a long time the Saitrell former glory was replaced with a humble living and the refugees of the quarrel quickly took to the new life of commoners under the new regime and Queen. It was only after a century that destruction would once again reach this race of old. Sought out by many when they were commoners it became noticeable that the Saitrell who were truly gifted could be a danger to the new throne and any who would use them in a foul manner. The order was called and the Saitrell where removed from their homes and mass executed covered up by crimes they did not partake in. Handfuls broke away from the massacre and hid out in tiny tribes never again to be seen and heard of. Now only remembered in fairytales of old the Saitrell had been dutifully carved from history in attempts to stop any looking for such creatures. When the worlds split several Saitrell fled to the new human realm only to be met with hardships their and unable to come back and communicate to their old tribes. Still forever hunted and sought out the Saitrell have become a weak and brittle species. Preferring to stay out of anything if they can and stick to their small tribal lives. Much of their magics and knowledge now lost to them all they are now are a broken people hiding from the world which would have them erased from it's pages. Some Saitrell still hold a hatred to all races but none are bold enough to stand up against them preferring to live out their meaningless lives in a moment of peace.
Saitrell still hold an affinity for magic and all can have some degree of foresight, some vague some very vivid it all depends on the Saitrell. Saitrell no longer study lavish magics and now live in extremly small pockets of family oriented groups always moving never still for fear they will be exterminated like rodents. They've lost their own language and much of their culture and just hold on by a thread hoping to once again live without worry. They enchant the land they live on in attempts to disorient the intruder who wander into their territory to avoid being found out.
Saitrell have very delicate features and are unable to lift heavy objects, They rely on their vast magics to do what they can even though most now only know simple levitation spells and simple teleportation spells. Their skin is a dark pinkish purple, though they are covered in a thin pinkinsh-white layer of fuzz from head to toe. They have long translucent wings that shimmer in many colors in the sunlight. The females have thin curved horns while the male tends to have horns resembling Antlers of an elk or other cervine species. All have a tendril at the end of their horns and tail tuft with a circular orb connected at the end of it with natural bioluminescence these orbs glow causing a will-o-the-wisp effect in the dark and can be used to communicate to other Saitrell in the area. Saitrell do cut their hair but it is uncommon for them too in such a dire situation if it is necessary one will. Saitrell have sharp teeth for cutting and all have a taste for meat, it is not uncommon for them to cannibalize one another nowadays and have been known to attack the passerby for food. Saitrell blood is similar to mercury and has a silvery color to it. Their eyes tend to range from red, pinkish-red, purple-red, violet, fuschia and dark indigo. Those who have blue or white eyes tend to be blind and are shunned. Saitrell burn their dead for fear of a body being found would cause others to search for them. Saitrell can shapeshift to fit into societies and avoid detection but very few have the know how to do so. Saitrell live in small family groups for a large group would draw attention to them.
Saitrell can live for several centuries and can surpass many races when it comes to age, but in their conidtion some never make it past infancy. the most their expected to live is to 80 or 130 if lucky.
Saitrell are weak to Fire, magic, and mortal injuries.
Remember Saitrell are a hunted species and sell big on the black fae market dead or alive, if you play one play them accordingly they would not willy nilly expose themselves and tend to be overly protective and paranoid and some even become hermits hiding away from ALL.
Since the Saitrell are such a broken race I'll be allowing very few to be playable, the Least amount being 3 the max being 10. PM me with your character idea and If I like it you can have it I'll even draw them!
