As usual the day starts and everything is blinding. It wasn't always like this. The strong smells, blinding lights, and being able to listen to the conversations down the hall. Everything was heightened and all thanks to a chance encounter with a Vampire. What was the world coming too when fantasy creatures walked among you? Starting off the routine, close the drapes, make a call to the Kiersted's house, take a shower, and wait. That's all Lilthea would do in the mornings. Hehe, that's all she could do.
After her shower and drying her shoulder length red hair. She went to her closet and found some blue jean shorts, one of her comfy yellow t-shirts, and she slipped on some flip flops. Hanging the wet towel up in the bathroom after she got dressed. She then went into her living room where she turned on the news and started to drag a brush through her hair. Lilthea was trying to keep her mind off all the pulsating blood in her building while she waited for her babysitting to bring a donor over for her to feed on.
Kiersted's usual wanted their clan members to stay in the same home. Where they could keep an eye on young Vampires and rule your life. Well, that's how Lilthea felt anyway. Actually, the Kiersted's believe in family and liked to keep each other close in case something happened. Which I guess was smart, for the dark ages. Lilthea had to beg and plead to get the Kiersted's and the Council to let her keep her apartment. The deal was, she would spend half the time at her apartment and the rest of the time at the Kiersted's household. Oh, she also had to beg them to let her keep her job at the night club. She didn't want the bank account that came with being part of the Kiersted's.
While watching one of those health segments on the television. She heard a car pulled up outside of her building. There was one person who didn't make a sound even though two car doors closed almost at the same time. He was here to feed her. 'About time!', she said loudly knowing that he would hear her. They had made their way upstairs to her apartment and before he could knock Lilthea said, "Unlocked". As if the guy with her happy meal was right by her. He opened the door and let a black haired woman about in her forties walk into the room first. He closed the door behind the food bag and moved quickly to sit on the sofa.
Lilthea dropped her brush and was on the woman before she could even make her way to the chair to sit down. She hated this, but the warm blood that now gushed into her mouth was wonderful. Lilthea could feel her itchy throat become less and less irritated by every drop she took from the woman she now held in her arms.
